I am the practice owner of Fysiotherapiepraktijk Van Delden in The Hague. I support patients with physical complaints, recovery, exercise and lifestyle, looking beyond just the area where the problem lies.

Good physiotherapy starts by listening to what help is needed and looking at what someone wants to be able to do again in their daily life. It’s not just about muscles and joints, but also about physical capacity, recovery, movement, sleep and lifestyle.

Personalised physiotherapy

Every patient is different. That is why we work together to identify the cause of the symptoms and develop a treatment plan tailored to the individual and their daily life.

Treatment may include a physiotherapy assessment, exercise therapy, building up physical capacity, support with returning to sport or daily activities, and advice on exercise and recovery.

Physiotherapy and lifestyle

Where lifestyle factors influence symptoms or recovery, these are taken into account in the treatment. Among other tools, the practice uses the ‘Leefstijlroer’ (Lifestyle Compass).

The aim is not to change everything at once, but to work together to identify which achievable adjustments can really make a difference.
